Great to meet you!

I specialize in Perinatal mental health and mood disorders, women’s physical and mental health, family planning, infertility and grief and bereavement. I am a certified Perinatal Mental Health Counselor (PMH-C), a birth and bereavement doula and have specialized training in traumatic grief and loss.

My approach to therapy

I believe it is more important to adapt to the needs of my client than follow one single therapeutic approach. I am grounded in person-centered care, however, I also regularly pull from ACT, CBT, DBT, positive psychology, solution focused therapy and trauma informed care.

What you can expect from me

I believe my role as a therapist is to provide support and resources in a way that works for you. Maybe you need to vent, want homework assignments, coping tools, more direction vs a listening ear, etc. You are paying for a service and I want you to leave our sessions feeling like you were heard. Therapy should be an opportunity for you to feel in control and have your concerns heard in a supportive, affirming environment.
