Great to meet you!

Motherhood is one of life’s most meaningful transitions, but it can also be one of the most overwhelming. Whether you’re trying to grow your family, adjusting to pregnancy or postpartum life, navigating infertility, or balancing the demands of raising children, you don’t have to do it alone. Therapy offers a space to slow down, process your experiences, and reconnect with yourself.

As a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT), I earned my Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy from Hofstra University. Prior to private practice, I worked in inpatient psychiatric settings with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns. This diverse clinical experience strengthened my ability to support individuals through life’s most difficult moments with compassion and understanding.

Today, I specialize in working with women and families through the many stages of motherhood and family life. My areas of focus include fertility and IVF, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, parenting stress, anxiety, identity changes, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, and major family transitions.

Whether you’re preparing for motherhood, navigating the early years of parenting, or simply longing to feel like yourself again, I’m here to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can happen. You deserve support not only as a parent, but as a person.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. Drawing from person-centered, psychodynamic, mindfulness, and creative arts therapy approaches, I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll build insight, strengthen resilience, and create practical tools to help you feel more confident and connected to yourself and your family.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, and my goal is to make your first session feel as comfortable and supportive as possible. During our initial appointment, we’ll take time to get to know one another, discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your current challenges, and talk about what you hope to gain from our work together. You’ll have the opportunity to share your story at your own pace—there is no pressure to have everything figured out. Together, we’ll begin identifying your strengths, discuss a treatment plan tailored to your needs, and create a safe, collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and supported from the very beginning.
