Great to meet you!

I believe that human connection is vital to the therapeutic practice and so during therapy, I do my best to provide a safe space to explore emotions and challenges as well as providing a space that is LGBTQIA+ affirming, anti-racist and Disability Justice Oriented. While I work with clients who experience a spectrum of challenges such as anxiety, depression, and work stress, I specialize in helping clients heal from trauma using cognitive, existential, somatic and polyvagal approaches.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in working with youth and young adults with a history of trauma, especially those that face societal challenges due to poverty, race, disability and gender. My background in juvenile justice allows me to support young people with high-risk, trauma-related behaviors such as substance use, and problem sexual history and violence.

What you can expect from me

Through trauma work, we can learn to understand the purpose behind behavioral patterns, how they were adapted to meet either physical or emotional needs, and how we can change those patterns and create new + more meaningful ways of interacting and connecting with others.
