Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience in the mental health space, I believe that seeking help can be the most difficult part of the therapeutic journey, so congratulations in taking that leap! In my time as a therapist, I have had experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, families and couples who represent many different cultures, backgrounds, identities and belief systems. Therefore, I am no stranger to creating a warm, safe and judgement-free space where my clients feel heard and supported.

My approach to therapy

I believe that while many clients come to therapy with similar concerns or goals, each client is unique and deserves care that is tailored to their individual story and needs. It is important to me that we work collaboratively and communicate openly so that you feel completely supported during our time working together. It is also my belief that my job is to challenge you while also ensuring that you feel respected during our sessions. I am also a strong believer that laughter is great medicine, so if you're someone who appreciates laughing through life - we are more than likely a good fit!

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I will ensure that you have ample time to share your story and what you hope to achieve during therapy. This is a time for you to allow yourself to be vulnerable with me so that we can ensure that we are a good fit for one another. I hope that during this session, you feel secure and supported enough to agree to continue our therapeutic relationship and discuss what comes next.
