Great to meet you!

I'm Catalina Robles-Ayala, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New Jersey. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life changes. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish, and I welcome clients from all backgrounds. I believe that healing happens when you feel truly safe and understood.

My approach to therapy

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We'll work together at your pace, exploring what's been hard, what's kept you stuck, and what's already working in your favor. I pull from a range of methods depending on what you need. Some sessions might be more reflective and exploratory, others more practical and goal-oriented. Above all, I want this to feel like a space where you can be honest, think out loud, and figure things out without judgment.

What you can expect from me

Before we begin, I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can get a sense of whether we're a good fit. If we decide to move forward, our first session is a chance for me to get to know you more fully, starting with your story, your relationships, and what's been weighing on you. I'll ask questions about your life and background so I can understand the bigger picture, not just what's happening right now. By the end, you'll have a sense of how we might work together, and I'll have what I need to support you in the best way possible. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard and a little more hopeful about what's ahead.
