Great to meet you!

I am a Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) dedicated to providing compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based support for individuals navigating life’s most challenging moments.

I received a Masters in Social Work in 2008 and completed a post graduate fellowship with Boston University and the Veteran’s Hospital on Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery for SMI population.

Throughout my time as a clinician, I have been able to work in a variety of clinical settings with a broad spectrum of clients (ranging from children and teenagers to adults), supporting individuals through complex emotional and behavioral challenges, including anxiety, depression, addictions, eating disorders, trauma and serious mental illness.

My approach to therapy

I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy. We will work together to identify your primary goals and we will create a tailored plan to address them. To support your growth, I utilize a range of evidence-based modalities, including, but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My focus is on creating an environment that is both supportive and structured to help reach your goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my focus is on getting to know you and understanding what brings you here. We’ll discuss what you hope to gain from therapy and establish a few achievable goals to get us started. Together, we’ll then determine which treatment approach feels like the best fit for your journey.
