Great to meet you!

Feeling stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed by the pressure to hold everything together? Maybe you're navigating a major life shift or struggling to keep your relationships steady while managing stress. You don't have to handle it alone.

I'm Catherine, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts with 16+ years of experience helping adults find calm, clarity, and connection in their lives. I've provided online therapy since 2019 and draw on both humor and practical tools to make real change feel possible. When I'm not working, I enjoy being outside, baking breads and extremely unhealthy desserts, and spending time with my husband, teenage sons, and two very energetic Irish-doodles.

My approach to therapy

I'll help you understand what's driving your anxiety, stress, or relationship patterns, and give you tools to manage them more effectively. My approach blends evidence-based methods like CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy), positive psychology, and mindfulness with a collaborative, strengths-based perspective. You'll always have a say in what we focus on, and I'll offer steady support, perspective, and encouragement along the way.

What you can expect from me

Our first meeting is a chance to get to know each other and talk about what's bringing you to therapy. I'll ask questions about your background, what's been feeling difficult lately, and what you hope to get out of our work together. From there, we'll start developing a plan that fits your needs - whether that's learning to manage anxious thoughts, adjust to a major life change, or strengthen your relationships. My goal is for you to leave each session with insight, tools, and a growing sense of confidence.
