Great to meet you!

Finding the right therapist can be a challenging task! Whether this is your first time in therapy or you are returning for additional guidance, rest assured my approach is to see and value you as a unique individual and determine what approach will be best for you. I have been a clinical social worker for 24 years and I look forward to sharing in your life journey! I have experience working in crisis medical settings, community centers that assist women who have experienced interpersonal violence, and for the past 17 years to now have worked full time in mental health with a governmental agency.

My approach to therapy

I seek to first develop a thorough understanding of who you are, what you have experienced, and what areas of life you would like to see change. It is very important to me that you feel seen and accepted no matter what life has challenged you with. We then work together to develop a plan for how to improve your life. I like to use a lot of examples from your lived experience so we can uncover reasons for your struggles and the best way for you personally to overcome those.

What you can expect from me

It is my goal for you to feel understood, validated and hopeful after meeting with me!
