Great to meet you!

I believe that to achieve true overall wellness, prioritizing our mental health is essential. I am honored to support my clients throughout that vital journey.

My name is Dr. Catherine Godoy, and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of nursing experience. My clinical focus is dedicated to helping those navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. As a veteran of the U.S. Navy, I feel a profound calling to support active-duty service members, veterans, and our first responder community. I intimately understand the unique sacrifices these roles require and am dedicated to providing a clinical space where you feel heard, respected, and understood.

My practice is built upon an extensive educational foundation, including a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Psychiatric Mental Health from the University of North Florida and a second DNP in Community Health and Wellness from the University of Alabama. I look forward to partnering with you to make your mental wellness a priority.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is built upon a collaborative partnership where clinical excellence meets a deeply human approach. With over 30 years in the nursing profession, I believe that mental health is the essential cornerstone of overall wellness, and I am dedicated to providing a supportive, non-judgmental environment where every client feels truly heard.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming and safe environment where your story is prioritized and respected. This initial meeting serves as a comprehensive evaluation where I will ask intentional questions to gain a deep understanding of your history, current challenges, and overall wellness goals.

My objective is to create a space where you feel comfortable being open, ensuring our partnership is built on trust and clarity. By the end of this session, our goal is to establish a personalized roadmap for your care that addresses immediate symptoms while identifying long-term outcomes for your total mental health.
