Welcome! I am a genuine and dedicated, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have been a Registered Nurse in Northwest Indiana since 1995, with the past three years spent in advanced practice at a very busy Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). I understand how difficult it can be to seek help, and I genuinely care about my patient's journey and comfort level. I firmly believe we are a team and strive to work together with patients, offering education and choices and involving them in their own treatment decisions.

I utilize evidence-based treatment (non-pharmacologic and pharmacologic), psychoeducation, and patient preference to educate and empower patients so that shared decisions can be made and treatment plans patients are comfortable with can be developed.

During your first visit, we will meet virtually for an initial evaluation. This takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour. This evaluation will help me better understand your mental health needs, determine if I can meet them, and if so, develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your specific needs.
