Great to meet you!

I have been in practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 25 years. I recognize that finding a therapist you are comfortable working with can be a daunting experience. I appreciate the time you are taking to search through different therapist bios to find one that may be a good fit for you. Whether you are dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety or something totally different having the right person to navigate that journey with you can make all the difference in the world. I am down to earth, non-judgmental and genuinely care about my clients.

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my approach to therapy is person-centered, strength based and trauma informed. I believe each person is the expert on their own life and that therapy should provide a safe environment where clients feel heard, respected and empowered to make meaningful changes.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I understand that starting therapy can feel uncomfortable or intimidating, so my goal is to create a welcoming, safe and judgement-free environment.

During our first session, we will talk about what brought you to therapy, what you are currently experiencing and what you hope to accomplish through therapy.
