Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina with more than 16 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, anger management, behavioral concerns, impulse control, grief, and trauma.

I also provide affirming, knowledgeable support for individuals involved in consensual kink, fetish, and BDSM communities. I recognize these as healthy expressions of human sexuality and relationships when practiced safely and consensually. My goal is to provide a supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences freely.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and compassionate. I believe that meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and open communication. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

Because every person is unique, I tailor therapy to meet your individual needs, strengths, and goals. My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based techniques, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) to help you better understand unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthy coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and make lasting changes.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

I'll ask questions about your personal history, relationships, mental health, and other areas of your life that may help me better understand your experiences. There is no pressure to share everything at once—you can move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

We'll also discuss your goals for therapy and begin developing a plan that fits your unique needs. This is a collaborative process, and I encourage you to ask questions about my approach or anything else that will help you feel more comfortable.

Most importantly, you can expect a supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you are free to be yourself. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as we begin working toward meaningful and lasting change together.
