Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is Dr. Catherine Nash and I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience supporting adult individuals from diverse backgrounds. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, women’s mental health, and other psychological challenges with a holistic, person-centered approach to therapy, promoting overall health and wellness.

I’ve always been fascinated by the connection between mental health and overall well-being, which led me to pursue a career in psychology. My passion for serving underserved populations grew through experiences in behavioral medicine within an integrated primary care model, where I saw the profound impact of mental health on overall health. Over time, I’ve focused my practice on women’s mental health, addressing trauma, emotional well-being, and co-occurring conditions. I strive to create safe, culturally sensitive spaces where clients can explore, grow, and thrive, with an approach centered on empathy, education, and empowerment.

My approach to therapy

Working with me begins with an open and collaborative intake process where we explore your unique needs, goals, and history. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. My approach is person-centered and strengths-based, focusing on your resilience and individual journey. I also use an integrative and eclectic approach when applying evidence-based practices, ensuring that our work is tailored to what best supports your growth. Progress looks different for everyone, but I aim to help clients develop practical tools, gain insight, and feel empowered to navigate challenges. I particularly enjoy working with underserved populations, and those navigating co-occurring conditions or mental health stigma.

What you can expect from me

I define success by trusting clients’ judgment of progress while guiding them to see all the small wins, even when those victories feel less obvious. I believe growth begins when comfort ends, and I support each client on their healing journey by standing with them through moments of discomfort.
