Great to meet you!

I have nine years of clinical experience as a therapist and assessor across inpatient, partial, and intensive outpatient hospitalization programs, as well as psychiatric emergency departments and outreach with victims’ assistance services. Prior to that, I worked for 14 years as a case manager and surveyor for individuals with a dual diagnosis of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and serious mental illness. In addition to my private practice, I am a clinician with a large hospital system, completing emergency mental health assessments in the city of Dallas alongside the Dallas Police Department (DPD) and Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR).

My approach to therapy

My primary approach to therapy is person centered. My belief is clients know themselves best and want to make positive authentic changes and connections that make sense for their life. Modalities I use vary on client needs, but my favorites are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is to create a comfortable, safe, and judgment-free space where we can begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. I follow your lead on establishing goals, as I truly believe you know yourself best. Our work together is entirely collaborative—we will move at a pace that feels right for you as we build the trust necessary to explore what brought you to therapy. Ultimately, you can expect an environment where your voice is heard, your experiences are validated, and your personal timeline is respected.
