Great to meet you!

My name is Catherine Richardson, and I am a licensed counselor specializing in helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. I work with kids, teens, young adults and adults who are suffering from social anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. I also support families—especially those dealing with high conflict and divorced parents seeking to improve co-parenting dynamics. The people I work with feel stuck due to past experiences that continue to shape their present. Whether you're facing past trauma, struggling to find your voice, or just need someone to listen without judgment, I’m here to support you through it.

My approach to therapy

In our sessions, I will use a holistic approach, incorporating techniques such as positive self-talk, personal growth strategies, and mindfulness to help you feel more confident and empowered. My goal is not just to listen, but to guide you in making small, meaningful changes that can help you meet your goals and feel more at ease with who you are.

What you can expect from me

My practice is unique because I take a person-centered and solution-focused approach and offer a range of therapeutic methods, from play therapy and art therapy to career counseling and bibliotherapy. For those who want it, I also offer a faith-based perspective to counseling, which can bring additional comfort and clarity during challenging times.
