Great to meet you!

I studied Neuroscience in my undergraduate career, and that launched my interest into the field of Psychology. From there I earned my Masters degree in Applied Behavioral analysis, to work in a more hands-on setting with children with Autism. After that, I earned my second Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology so I could work with a greater range of clients. Now, I work with adolescents and adults and blend all of my past experiences and education. I blend evidence based practices like CBT, DBT and ACT all with an underlying foundation of neuroscience and mindfulness.

My approach to therapy

You are a unique, complex individual and your therapy should reflect that! I blend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and a dash of Internal Family Systems into my approach. All of my therapeutic approaches have an underlying foundation of mindfulness, so client's can learn and utilize mindfulness strategies across a variety of mental health issues.

What you can expect from me

If you are interested in starting therapy, we can schedule a 15 minute consultation to see if its a good "fit" both personality wise and therapeutically. From there, I will send you some forms including insurance forms, consents and a biopsychosocial intake form that reviews important information like issues bringing you in, past mental health and medical issues, etc. The intake is 60 minute session, where I will review the intake materials and go into more depth with how we can work together to create a dynamic treatment plan that aligns with your goals and values. I love working with clients who are willing to reflect on what is or isn't working in their current life, and are open to trying new ways of thinking and experiencing!
