Great to meet you!

Seeking support for your mental health can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where adolescents and adults can feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care. I treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia, bipolar disorder, life-transition, and mood-related concerns using a thoughtful, evidence-based, whole-person approach that considers the connection between mental and physical health. My background includes psychiatry, pediatrics, oncology, hospice, and infectious disease, which helps inform a comprehensive and medically grounded approach to care. I work collaboratively with patients, therapists, and medical providers to support meaningful, lasting improvement.

My approach to therapy

I believe mental health care should be individualized, thoughtful, and collaborative. My approach is grounded in evidence-based treatment while recognizing that each person’s experiences, stressors, and goals are unique. I work closely with patients to better understand what they’re going through and develop a treatment plan that feels realistic, supportive, and aligned with their needs. I want patients to feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where meaningful progress and long-term stability can develop over time.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I’ll take time to learn about your background, current concerns, symptoms, and goals for care. We’ll complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, review any relevant medical or mental health history, and discuss treatment options tailored to your needs. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, openly sharing your experiences, and actively participating in developing a treatment plan and clear next steps together.
