Great to meet you!

Catherine Williams, PMHNP-BC. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Texas telehealth). As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care that supports each individual’s journey toward stability, healing, and lasting wellness. I integrate both medical and therapeutic perspectives to address the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—with clinical expertise and genuine empathy.

I strive to create a safe, respectful, and judgment-free environment where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, or major life transitions, I work collaboratively with you to develop an individualized treatment plan that empowers growth and promotes meaningful, sustained emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

Finding the right provider is an important step, and I strive to make the process feel supportive and reassuring from the very beginning. My approach focuses on understanding the whole picture—your symptoms, your strengths, and your lived experiences—to help you build meaningful and lasting change. With a balance of clinical expertise and compassionate care, I work with you to identify what truly supports your emotional well-being and long-term growth.

What you can expect from working with me on Headway:

  • A safe, judgment-free space where you can speak openly and feel supported
  • A holistic, person-centered approach that considers your mind, body, and life environment
  • A collaborative treatment plan tailored to your goals, lifestyle, and needs

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation focused on understanding your mental health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. I take time to listen carefully and ask thoughtful questions to gain a clear picture of your needs. From there, we’ll begin shaping an individualized care plan that aligns with your goals and supports your overall well-being. My priority is ensuring you feel comfortable, informed, and actively involved in your treatment from the very start.

Your first session may include:

  • A review of your mental health history and current symptoms
  • Time to discuss your goals, concerns, and what you hope to gain from treatment
  • A clear explanation of potential therapy and/or medication management options
  • The beginning of a personalized care plan designed around your needs
  • Space to ask questions so you feel confident and supported moving forward
