Great to meet you!
I’m Cathey W. Law, a Licensed Professional Counselor who didn’t arrive at this work by accident. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in corporate leadership—walking alongside adults as they navigated high-stakes decisions, shifting identities, and seasons of profound change. For over 16 years, I’ve supported individuals through transitions that ask them to stretch, grieve, rebuild, and redefine who they are.
My work is trauma-informed at its core. I specialize in helping clients gently process and heal unresolved trauma using Brainspotting (BSP), along with other evidence-based approaches that honor both the mind and the body. I believe healing isn’t about rushing toward insight—it’s about creating enough safety for the nervous system to soften and for the story beneath the pain to be heard.
In my practice, I often sit with adults who are standing at a crossroads: career pivots, relationship strain, grief that lingers longer than expected, or the quiet burnout that comes from carrying too much for too long.
Together, we untangle what feels overwhelming, strengthen emotional regulation, and reconnect you to your own clarity and inner steadiness.
I strive to create a space that feels compassionate, grounded, and collaborative—where growth unfolds at a pace that respects your lived experience.
My goal is not to fix you, but to help you reclaim your resilience, your confidence, and your sense of purpose in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.
