Great to meet you!

I’m Cathi, a Licensed Professional Counselor, who supports individuals and couples through their journeys of healing and growth. A lifelong curiosity about human resilience and a desire to help others find strength in challenging times are the foundation of my work. I have a M.Ed. from Temple University in Educational Psychology, and a MA from Messiah University in Mental Health Counseling. I have spent my life both personally and professionally striving to help others find what fulfills them and brings joy to their lives.

My approach to therapy

My specialization includes helping clients navigate concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and trauma recovery. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s needs individually. Drawing from a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic principles, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills, and mindfulness-based techniques, clients develop effective coping skills, gain deeper insights into their patterns, and cultivate a stronger sense of self. The ultimate goal is to empower clients to create lasting, positive changes and experience a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

With 30 years of experience in the field, diverse clients in various settings have been served. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where thoughts and feelings can be explored openly and collaboratively. You can expect empathetic listening, practical tools, and gentle guidance. Each client is the expert in their own lives, and my role is to partner with them as they navigate their path towards well-being and personal growth.
