Cathleen Fitzpatrick

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and founder of Wren & Oak Counseling and Trauma Center in Lake Mary, Florida. I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and challenges related to identity and relationships, with a particular passion for supporting women. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in understanding how our experiences shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us. I believe meaningful healing happens when we feel safe enough to explore our experiences, reconnect with ourselves, and create lasting change.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and rooted in curiosity rather than judgment. I believe our experiences shape how we think, feel, relate to others, and understand ourselves. Together, we explore not only the challenges bringing you to therapy, but also the underlying patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck. I integrate trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches with a whole-person perspective that considers emotional health, physical well-being, relationships, and personal meaning. My goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, reconnect with yourself, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. I'll invite you to share your experiences, concerns, and hopes for our work together, while allowing you to move at a pace that feels comfortable. There's no expectation to share everything right away. My priority is creating a welcoming, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable beginning the process of healing.
