Great to meet you!

Mind is full of energy, so health of the mind matters first”- Hira Ratan Manek.

Hello! I'm a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing, specializing in psychiatry. I'm qualified to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, OCD, panic disorder, and PTSD.

I believe in treating each person holistically — considering the mental, physical, environmental, and social factors that shape your wellbeing. My approach is non-judgmental, because I understand there is no shame or guilt in seeking help for mental health. Many of the clients I work with come to me feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and anxious — and helping them move through that is exactly why I do this work. Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with family, reading, shopping, and trying new foods.

My approach to therapy

My greatest strength is listening — truly hearing what you're going through before anything else. I want every client to feel heard, appreciated, and at ease during our time together. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive talk therapy, always working to understand the full picture of who you are, not just your symptoms.

My ultimate goal is to build a genuine therapeutic partnership with you — one grounded in trust and collaboration — so we can work together toward lasting mental and physical wellness. Seeing people get better is what drives me every day.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know you. We'll have an open, thorough conversation about what's brought you in, your history, and your goals. There's no pressure — this is a safe, judgment-free space. By the end of our first visit, we'll have a clearer picture of where you are and begin building a care plan tailored specifically to you. I want you to leave feeling understood and hopeful about the path ahead.
