Great to meet you!

At the heart of my work is the belief that every person possesses unique strengths-even during life's most difficult moments. Sometimes those strengths become buried beneath stress, anxiety grief, or self-doubt. My role is to help you uncover those strengths, build upon them, and use them as the foundation for lasting growth and meaningful change. I believe healing doesn't come from focusing only on what's wrong-it comes from recognizing what's already within you and learning how to use it to move forward.

I am a Licensed Clinical Therapist with over 20 years of experience helping adolescents and adults through life's challenges. Throughout my career, I've worked in psychiatric hospitals, outpatient mental health settings, and for more than 16 years in a high school supporting individuals and families though a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life concerns. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the unique challenges people face across different stages of life.

Seeking therapy is a courageous first step and you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based. Together we will identify practical strategies, increase self-awareness, develop healthy coping skills, and create realistic goals that align with the life you want to live.

I strive to create a safe, trusting environment where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and empowered. It would be an honor to support you as you discover your strengths, overcome obstacles, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments to provide flexibility and convenience.

At Always Forward Counseling, I believe that no matter where life has brought you, you already have the strength within you to move forward. Together, we'll find that strength, build upon it, and use it to create the future you deserve.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to make your first session feel comfortable, welcoming, and free of judgement. During our first session we'll spend time getting to know one another. I'll invite you to share what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There is no pressure to tell me everything at once-we'll move at a pace that feels right to you.
