Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology and more than 20 years of experience across healthcare, managed care, and behavioral health settings. Throughout my career, I have helped individuals navigate life's challenges while developing practical skills to improve emotional well-being and resilience.

I specialize in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, relationship stress, chronic health concerns, caregiver stress, and major life transitions. I also offer Christian counseling and faith-based therapy for those who wish to incorporate their faith into the therapeutic process.

My unique background in both clinical care and clinical operations allows me to understand not only the emotional struggles clients face, but also the practical challenges that can accompany complex health conditions, caregiving responsibilities, and navigating healthcare systems. My goal is to provide a supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals. My approach is relational and strengths-based, helping clients identify existing strengths while developing new skills to overcome obstacles and create lasting change.

I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness-based techniques, and psychoeducation to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. For clients seeking faith integration, I can also incorporate Christian counseling principles into treatment.

Clients often describe me as calm, direct, and compassionate.

I provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment where difficult emotions can be explored openly while also offering practical tools, gentle accountability, and actionable strategies. I work with preteens, teens, young adults, and adults facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, burnout, relationships, and life transitions.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship and to explore what brings you to therapy. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns at your own pace.

During our initial meeting, we will discuss your current challenges, personal history, strengths, and goals for therapy. Together, we will identify priorities and begin developing a plan that aligns with your needs and desired outcomes.

Many clients leave the first session with greater clarity about their concerns, a better understanding of how therapy can help, and practical strategies they can begin using right away. My approach combines thoughtful exploration with concrete, real-world solutions to help clients move toward meaningful and lasting change.
