Great to meet you!

I practice counseling via telehealth in Vermont with over 20 years of experience working with youth and adults in community mental health, higher education and athletics. I work with clients of all genders. I enjoy helping women overcome the social and cultural pressures that can make life more difficult, fostering resilience, confidence, and self-compassion. I also have experience working with men and am familiar with military family issues.

I believe therapy should be a safe, empowering space where you can untangle what’s weighing on you and explore new ways to move forward. When I’m not working, I enjoy throwing clay on a pottery wheel, painting, fitness, reading and traveling with family and our dog.

My approach to therapy

I utilize techniques that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness. My goal is to support your life goals and help you find peace in our complicated world. My style is down-to-earth and collaborative — we’ll work together at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you.

What you can expect from me

During the first session clients are able to share what their goals are for counseling and determine whether I am a good fit for them. We can move at whatever pace feels best.
