Cathy is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree from Eastern Illinois University. She is a seasoned clinician with over 21 years of experience helping people reach their highest potential. She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief/loss, loneliness, OCD/intrusive thoughts, motivation, mindfulness, work-related stress, and relationship issues.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Cathy provides her clients with a safe, inclusive, judgment-free space to express feelings, fears, memories, thoughts and aspirations. She is inquisitive and works with clients to enhance self-acceptance and self-esteem with the Rogerian-based principles of empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard.

Cathy is warm and open-minded and will provide you with support and empathy and develop methods tailored just for you to gain the peace of mind and contentment needed to be happy and productive in your life. She employs principles from many of the "greats," including Brené Brown, Thich Nhat Hanh, John Gottman and Carl Rogers and listens without judgment.
