Great to meet you!

Hailing from Ireland, I came into mental health through a deep curiosity about family dynamics and the patterns that shape how we live and love. I completed my Master's in Counseling in 2012 and since then have worked in in-home therapy, a rape crisis center, psychiatric hospitals, and for the past nine years in university counseling centers. I am trained in EMDR and am an advanced candidate in a four year diploma in Existential Analysis.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in existential analysis, helping you explore meaning, freedom, and connection in your life so you can live in a way that feels more authentic. I integrate other methods as needed, including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, and meet you where you are to build self awareness, confidence, and resilience in facing challenges while honoring your values and hopes.

What you can expect from me

I know taking this step can feel big, and that is okay. In our first session, we will focus on getting to know you, your story, and what brings you here now. We will talk about what support might look like for you, what you would like to change or better understand, and what feels most pressing. Together, we will explore whether we are a good fit to begin your work toward healing and growth.
