Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Catlin Barnes, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, and ADHD.

My approach is collaborative, direct, and personalized. I take the time to understand your story, what you’ve been through, and what you’re hoping to change. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and aligned with your goals—whether that includes medication, therapy, or more advanced treatment options.

I believe mental health care should feel approachable, not overwhelming. You can expect a space where you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, personalized, and rooted in the whole person.

I believe there is no one-size-fits-all treatment in mental health. I take time to understand your unique experiences, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals so we can build a plan that actually works for you—not just on paper, but in real life.

I combine evidence-based medication management with a deeper, more integrative perspective.

I value being direct, supportive, and transparent. I’ll guide you with clinical expertise while also making sure you feel informed, comfortable, and actively involved in every decision.

Care is not rushed or transactional—it’s intentional, supportive, and focused on helping you create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to connect and begin building a collaborative relationship. I’ll take a comprehensive look at your mental and physical health history, explore what’s currently working for you, and identify areas where you'd like support or change. From there, we’ll create a personalized plan that aligns with your goals, values, and lifestyle.

As we continue working together, we'll explore your strengths, challenges, and opportunities for growth—supporting your mental, emotional, and physical well-being every step of the way.
