Great to meet you!

Cecelia is a highly regarded ministry leader and licensed professional counselor dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s most challenging seasons. She holds a Masters of Arts in Counseling degree from Dallas Baptist University and a Masters in Ministry from Phoenix Seminary. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education in Developmental Education, with a concentration in Student Affairs and Personnel Services, at Grambling State University.

My approach to therapy

With an Advanced Certification in School Counseling and a Nationally recognized Certified Counselor with over a decade of experience serving as a Professional School Counselor in the public school system, Cecelia brings a deep understanding of student development, emotional wellness, and holistic care.

What you can expect from me

Cecelia supports her clients and students through Christ-centered counseling that integrates faith, compassion, and evidence based practices. Her work focuses on helping individuals cope with ambiguous grief, navigate life’s transitions, heal from trauma and abuse, and address the unique mental health needs of student athletes through sport and performance counseling.

Grounded in the belief that life’s successes and failures “transform our lives into the beauty of why we were created,” Cecelia strives to create a safe, open, and affirming therapeutic environment where her clients feel and therefore, heal. She utilizes an integrative theoretical approach (including biblical principles) and specializes in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to empower clients toward clarity, resilience, and personal growth.
