Great to meet you!

Welcome, I'm Cecile. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. You may be high achieving and strong on the outside, and yet feeling stuck inside, struggling with low self-esteem or shame. Or hoping to find a renewed sense of purpose and greater alignment with your authentic self.

I moved to the US from France in my 20's and that experience shapes my work. I am attentive to what we internalize from family, society, and culture, and how that shows up in perfectionism, self-doubt, or attachment patterns. I've worked extensively with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ and first-generation clients with particular attention to acculturation, intersectionality, and trauma.

My approach to therapy

My clinical foundation is psychoanalytic - helping you understand why you feel and react the way you do. I value insight, but I also believe therapy should be useful. No one-size-fits-all here, depending on your goals, we may explore recurring patterns while also developing practical tools to manage anxiety, navigate difficult conversations, regulate emotions, and make meaningful change.

Building trust takes time and I take that process seriously. I am warm, open-minded and I welcome questions and feedback throughout our work. I approach my work with compassion and am affirmative of your experiences and needs.

What you can expect from me

We'll start with a free, initial consultation - a chance for you to share what's bringing you to therapy and for us to see if we're a good fit for what you need. Whether you are looking for support through a specific transition or hoping to understand yourself more deeply, we can start with where you are.

Thank you for reading my profile. I look forward to speaking with you !
