Great to meet you!

I look forward to working with you! Most of my experience involves working with individuals with trauma, past or more recent, anxiety and mood issues, and just plain good old fashioned stress. I have a master of science in Clinical Psychology and have been working with my area specialties for 5 plus years.

My approach to therapy

My approach can be direct or fluid, depending on what methods help you thrive. I am primarily humanistic and believe people come to their own answers with support, while also acknowledging the ambiguity of life can sometimes require a compass and a place to start. I use cognitive behavioral strategies as well as mindfulness techniques.

What you can expect from me

I am goal oriented and you can expect in our first sessions that we will be developing a plan together that identifies the primary issues that brought you to therapy, specific goals of what you'd like to achieve, and what needs to happen to achieve them. At the end of sessions, I will usually prompt you to identify key tasks to accomplish over the following week before our next meeting and hope you walk away with a sense of direction and empowerment!
