Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. Reaching out for support takes courage, and my goal is to provide a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and never judged. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 15 years of experience, I help adolescents, adults, and families work through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, stress, and major life transitions. Together, we'll explore what's keeping you stuck while building practical tools that help you move forward with greater confidence and peace.

Throughout my career, I've worked in advocacy centers, public schools, and private practice, giving me the opportunity to support people from many different backgrounds and life experiences. I believe every person deserves compassionate, individualized care, and I strive to create a warm, encouraging environment where you can openly share your story, process difficult emotions, and begin creating meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is compassionate, collaborative, and goal oriented. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy to help clients better understand their thoughts, build healthier coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

I believe therapy should feel supportive and empowering while also providing practical tools you can apply in everyday life. I work closely with clients to identify strengths, increase self awareness, and create realistic goals that align with their personal values and needs. For clients who desire it, I also offer faith based counseling that thoughtfully integrates Christian values into the therapeutic process.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you and understanding what has brought you to therapy. We’ll talk through your concerns, experiences, and goals at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive. I’ll also help you begin identifying strengths, patterns, and areas where healing and growth can begin.

My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the process ahead. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to navigate things alone!
