Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed clinical social worker and seasoned psychotherapist who helps women work through anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles - including breakups and other major transitions. I pay close attention to how family and cultural background shape the patterns that keep you stuck, since that context often explains why certain things feel so hard to shake even when you know better. Clients come to me because I'm real with them, not just there to listen.

My approach to therapy

I'm honest and direct with clients - I'll challenge you when it counts, even when that feels uncomfortable, because that's often where real change starts. My approach is tailored to each client: we might use CBT for symptom relief, alongside psychodynamic, narrative, and strength-based work to get at where a pattern started and reconnect you with your sense of self. The goal isn't just feeling better in the moment - it's understanding yourself well enough to make different choices going forward.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an intake - mostly information gathering, not treatment yet. We'll talk through what's bringing you in, your history, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy, and you'll get a real feel for my style and how I work. The actual work starts once we officially begin sessions together.
