Great to meet you!

I see WA clients on MONDAY ONLY....My path into therapy is both personal and professional. Growing up, therapy was not something embraced or understood in my environment. That changed when I began working at the Betty Ford Center, where I was surrounded by compassionate clinicians who demonstrated the power of being heard, supported, and guided through life’s challenges. That experience shaped my commitment to helping others heal and grow.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience in mental health, social services, and juvenile justice settings. I specialize in working with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation challenges, and life transitions. My work is grounded in helping clients understand how past experiences impact present patterns, while building practical tools for lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and solution-focused. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients build awareness, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and develop healthier coping skills.

I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences while also being gently challenged to grow. My style balances empathy with accountability—I meet clients where they are, while helping them move toward where they want to be.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and relaxed environment where they can share their story at their own pace. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, identify current challenges, and begin outlining your goals for treatment.

I focus on building rapport, understanding your unique experiences, and creating a clear direction for our work together. You can expect to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a better understanding of the next steps in your healing process.
