Great to meet you!

I'm Cedric Fields, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I earned my Master's degree from Azusa Pacific University and have counseling experience across mental health and marriage and family therapy. Before entering the field, I served six years in the United States Army, and that time taught me a lot about resilience, connection, and what it takes to push through difficult chapters. Outside the office, I train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, watch anime, and read everything from fiction to comic books.

My approach to therapy

I believe every person has a unique story, and my job is to listen to yours carefully and offer guidance that actually fits where you are. My approach draws from clinical training alongside real lived experience, including what military service taught me about working through hard things with other people. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or major life transitions, and with couples working to rebuild communication and trust. Families dealing with parenting challenges or blended family dynamics are welcome here too. My goal is simple: to eventually no longer be needed.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know you and understanding what brought you in. I will ask about your story, what you want to work on, and what has or has not helped in the past. You do not need to arrive with everything figured out before we meet. My job is to make sure you feel heard so we can find a path forward that fits your real life.
