I'm a bilingual, licensed therapist in Florida. I am from Puerto Rico and moved to Miami, FL to pursue a career in mental health counseling. I have found that I work and connect well with adult and young adult women that want to overcome codependency, heal the loss of a relationship or marriage, improve their self-esteem, or manage stress. While those are my main specialities, I also support clients that are struggling with and need help managing anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, and grief.
I integrate principles from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and I follow an attachment-based approach, when applicable. The approach will be tailored to your specific needs and depending on your treatment goals.
The initial parts of therapy are mostly dedicated to building rapport with the client and providing them space to share what they have been struggling with and what they hope to achieve. An essential part of success in therapy is a strong therapeutic relationship and a common vision of what the client’s goals are. I aim to collaborate with clients in determining the best path that will lead them there and to guide and support them every step of the way.
