Great to meet you!

I bring over ten years of experience supporting individuals across diverse backgrounds and life stages. My work has spanned settings such as hospice care, child welfare, inpatient psychiatry, and outpatient mental health, which allows me to approach each client with a well-rounded and compassionate perspective. I specialize in working with teens, young adults, parents, and caregivers navigating OCD, Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs), anxiety disorders, phobias, trauma, depression, and major life transitions. I also have a dedicated focus in perinatal mental health, supporting individuals through pregnancy, postpartum, and the emotional complexities of early parenthood. My goal is to provide care that is supportive, practical, and tailored to your unique needs.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in a whole-person perspective, trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and evidence-based practices. I view therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to better understand your experiences and build tools for meaningful change. My style is supportive and goal-oriented, with a strong focus on helping you develop practical skills you can use in your daily life. I often incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion strategies to help reduce shame, strengthen resilience, and support long-term growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know each other. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any goals you may have. I may ask questions about your background, history, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. Together, we’ll start identifying priorities and outline an initial plan for moving forward. My aim is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of direction for our work together.
