Great to meet you!

Modern life moves fast, and it’s easy to feel left behind by anxiety, depression, or a lack of motivation. I specialize in helping adolescents and adults navigate the 'messy middle' of life transitions, whether that is entering adulthood, managing the demands of parenthood, or coping with the burnout of being a caregiver. This might include precision medicine (pharmacogenomic testing), targeted supplements, and lifestyle shifts alongside traditional medication and talk therapy.

With nearly two decades of healthcare experience and dual certifications in Family Medicine and Psychiatric-Mental Health, I offer a higher level of integrated care. I don’t just treat symptoms; I look at the whole person. From managing complex conditions like ADHD and PTSD to supporting new parents through the perinatal period, my goal is to help you move from 'surviving' to 'thriving.' Together, we will build an individualized care plan that combines clinical expertise with deep empathy, giving you the tools to reclaim your quality of life.

My approach to therapy

Healing starts with feeling understood and also with having a clear path forward. My approach is both supportive and direct: I create a space where you feel heard, while also helping you make meaningful, real-life changes.

I work best with individuals navigating life transitions, whether that’s burnout, career changes, parenting stress, relationship shifts, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of what’s next. Together, we focus on building clarity, confidence, and practical strategies you can actually use in your day-to-day life.

I believe your treatment should feel helpful, not overwhelming. That means we won’t just talk about what’s wrong; we’ll actively work toward solutions that move you forward. If medication is part of your care, I take a thoughtful and collaborative approach, ensuring it’s safe, effective, and aligned with your goals.

My approach combines supportive therapy with practical, solution-focused strategies to help you navigate life transitions, reduce anxiety, and overcome burnout

My goal is simple: to help you feel more in control, more like yourself, and better equipped to handle whatever life brings next, all within a supportive, convenient virtual space.

What you can expect from me

Making the first step toward support can feel like the heaviest lift, especially when you’re already managing a lot. My goal for our first meeting is to make you feel heard, not just heard about. We’ll spend our first 45 minutes in a relaxed, virtual space where you can share your story at your own pace. Here is how we will spend our time:

  • A Judgment-Free Deep Dive: We will discuss your current challenges, whether that’s the weight of a life transition, caregiver burnout, or the 'fog' of low motivation. We’ll also look at your physical health and history to get the full picture of your well-being.
  • Collaborative Goal Setting: We won't just list symptoms. We’ll talk about what 'feeling better' actually looks like for you, whether that’s having more patience with your children, finding the energy to return to hobbies, or simply feeling more like yourself again.
  • A Clear Starting Map: By the end of our session, you won’t leave wondering 'what’s next.' We will have a clear, initial plan, which may include therapeutic strategies, a discussion on medication options, or lifestyle shifts, tailored specifically to your current season of life.

There is no need to 'prepare' or have it all together before we meet. You are welcome exactly as you are.
