Hi, I’m Celeste, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in MA with experience in community mental health supporting children, teens, adults, and families through transitions, stabilization and daily stressors. I utilize a trauma sensitive approach to best support the individuals that I serve, placing focus on empathy, validation and creating a safe-space.
My therapeutic approach is Trauma Informed and Sensitive, providing a collaborative space for my clients to guide their treatment process. I value that my therapist-client relationship creates a place for trust and empathy. I often use an eclectic approach, blending various therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Humanistic Therapy, and can assure that all interventions utilized are tailored to my client's own, unique needs.
Your first session will be focused on getting to know you, through background questions, and open discussions about your reasons for treatment. We will identify goals that you would like to work towards, as well as establish a place for trust going forward in treatment. I encourage you to ask all of the questions you may have, as it is normal to feel anxious when first beginning therapy. I will guide us in creating a safe and supportive space for you to feel heard and understood as you navigate this therapeutic process.
