Great to meet you!

Life can be overwhelming, and sometimes it may feel like things cannot change or are broken beyond repair. Living in survival mode drains our internal resources. Based on scientific research, lived experience, and years of experience working with clients, I believe that healing is possible- I know in my heart that you deserve a better-lived experience than just surviving or going through the motions.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Celeste specializes in treating PTSD and cPTSD (complex post-traumatic stress disorder often stemming from childhood abuse or neglect) in adults & teens. Using EMDR, DBT, CBT, IFS, and somatic therapies, a wide range of symptoms and issues can be effectively treated and allow for long-term healing. In our sessions, you will experience warmth & compassion. The core root of effective therapy is feeling seen and understood with genuine compassion.

What you can expect from our first session

Therapy is an investment of both time & money, and it should be personalized for you. We are working in collaboration throughout the therapeutic process, continually refining and adjusting the approaches and tools to ensure that you are getting what you need. The goal is to go beyond feeling better in the moment, rather creating lasting change. The struggles that you may be experiencing can be seen as ways that you have learned to cope with difficult life situations, not pathology.
