Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Celia, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 27 years of experience supporting adults, young adults, adolescents, children, and families. I am licensed in Massachusetts and Florida and hold a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Anna Maria College and a CAGS from Cambridge College.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship or family stress, low self-esteem, emotional eating, eating disorders, adoption-related concerns, parenting challenges, and major life transitions. I help clients understand the patterns affecting their emotional well-being, strengthen coping skills, develop healthier boundaries, and move toward a life that feels more manageable and fulfilling.
I also bring extensive experience with school-age concerns and family support. I assist children, adolescents, and parents with anxiety, emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, social difficulties, academic stress, school transitions, and parent–school collaboration. My background allows me to understand not only the individual child, but also the larger family and educational systems surrounding them.
My approach is warm, collaborative, practical, and strengths-based. Therapy is a space where you can speak openly, feel understood, and receive honest, compassionate support without judgment. Together, we will identify what is within your control, build on your existing strengths, and develop realistic strategies for meaningful and lasting change.
I offer both ongoing therapy and one-time consultations. You may be seeking continued support, help navigating a specific situation, a professional sounding board, or simply a safe place to organize your thoughts and determine your next steps. Whatever brings you to therapy, you remain in the driver’s seat, and our work will be guided by your needs, priorities, and goals.
