Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who takes a holistic and compassionate approach to therapy, supporting the mind, body, and spirit throughout the healing process. I believe people open up where they feel safest and most understood, so creating a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment is one of the most important parts of my work.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in a variety of settings. I specialize in supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, personality disorders, relationship challenges, substance use concerns, ADHD, behavioral challenges, family conflict, self-esteem issues, life transitions, and emotional regulation difficulties. I help clients better understand their emotions, patterns, and relationships while building healthier coping skills, stronger self-awareness, and greater confidence in themselves and their lives. I also value incorporating psychoeducation into sessions so clients feel empowered with both insight and practical tools they can apply outside of therapy.

My philosophy is that we are never too old to heal, grow, or rediscover joy. I strive to help clients turn pain into wisdom, reconnect with their strengths, and create meaningful change in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and experiences. I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while exploring the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be impacting their daily lives and relationships.

I take a holistic and person-centered approach to treatment, recognizing the connection between emotional, mental, and behavioral well-being. I integrate evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, strengths-based interventions, attachment-focused work, psychoeducation, and DBT-informed coping skills to help clients build insight, improve emotional regulation, and develop healthier ways of coping.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a comfortable and supportive connection. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, the challenges you’ve been experiencing, and what goals you hope to work toward.

I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, relationships, emotional experiences, and current stressors, while also making space for you to share at your own pace. My goal is for clients to feel heard, safe, and understood from the very beginning.

Together, we’ll start identifying patterns, strengths, and areas of growth while discussing what support may look like moving forward. Clients often leave the first session with greater clarity, validation, and practical tools or insights they can begin applying in daily life.
