Great to meet you!

I am passionate about working with teens and adults as they navigate challenges and major life transitions. My goal is to provide the support you need to identify effective ways to address issues that are causing you pain and stress. Whether it be conflict in relationships, difficulty from past traumatic events, anxiety and/or depression, I am confident we can find the skills to help.

I have over 15 years of experience supporting survivors of violence, abuse, and immigration trauma.

Ofrezco servicios en español. Mi meta es brindarte apoyo para encontrar maneras efectivas de enfrentar los problemas que te están causando dolor.

My approach to therapy

I strongly believe that we all already hold the inner strength and wisdom needed to navigate life’s challenges, but sometimes we may just need extra support to reconnect with our innate skills. My hope is to be a support for you as you rediscover your voice, your power, and move toward your goals. I integrate various evidence-based modalities to tailor a treatment plan that will address your individual needs. I have extensive training in CBT, TF-CBT and DBT. I value honesty, humor and real-life examples to make therapy relatable and engaging. I provide a compassionate, culturally sensitive environment where you can feel comfortable talking about difficult issues. I hope to create a space where you feel safe being your authentic self, knowing that therapy is a collaborative relationship, not just a process. Therapy is hard work, but worth it!

What you can expect from me

I hope sessions provide the support you need to identify effective ways to address issues that are causing you pain and stress. I believe in meaningful, practical growth and will challenge you in a compassionate manner. Sessions may be tough at times, but the hope is they will also highlight your resilience and strength.
