Great to meet you!
Hello, my name is Celinda Barron, and have been licensed as a Professional Counselor since 2019. I have a Masters of Arts in Guidance and Counseling. As a dedicated and compassionate therapist, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating the challenges of anxiety, depression, ADHD, and family issues. I offer affirming and inclusive care for gay, lesbian, and bisexual individuals, and I am deeply committed to creating a safe and supportive space for exploring identity, relationships, and life transitions.
My work also includes helping clients process and heal from grief, trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I understand how complex and personal each journey is, and I strive to meet each person with empathy, respect, and authenticity.
Therapeutic Approach
I use a collaborative, evidence-based approach tailored to your needs and goals. My practice draws from:
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) – to help explore ambivalence and build motivation for change
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – to identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors
- Humanistic Therapy – to foster self-awareness, personal growth, and emotional healing
- Behavioral Management Therapy – to develop practical strategies for daily challenges, particularly with ADHD and behavioral concerns
Whether you're facing internal struggles, interpersonal difficulties, or identity-related stress, I am here to walk with you—offering guidance, skills, and support every step of the way.
