Great to meet you!

As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, my goal is to create hope and help people to realize that together we can overcome whatever struggles they are facing. I specialize in treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar, and LGBTQIA+ issues. I have been a nurse for 27 years, and I strive to show compassion and understanding to everyone who needs help.

My approach to therapy

Everyone's experience is unique, so I take a personalized approach with each patient. What works for some may not work for everyone. I partner with my patients to individualize their care, making sure that they feel seen and heard. We collaborate to find solutions together that combine evidence-based practices with achieving a good fit for what feels right.

What you can expect from me

I once read that "change happens at the speed of trust". That stuck with me, and I use that as my guiding light when establishing trust and rapport with my patients. Our introductory session will be one hour long, so that I have time to hear your story, and learn the framework of what makes you unique. I ask about your goals for treatment, and then we work the treatment plan around attaining them. It's important that you leave feeling comfortable with our initial plan, and look forward to coming back to check in on how things are going.
