Great to meet you!

As a therapist for 8 years, I believe anything can be accomplished through the right therapeutic approach. It is not about fitting a client into a mold but creating a mold that fits the client. Through this journey, the client is the artist, sculptor, and visionary that recreates the new and repairs the old.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a collaboration between the therapist and client with the client shaping the focus. Through exploration and explanation, the client determines the course of treatment with the therapist offering avenues to reach their goals. This is not done by one means, but through the use a multimodal approach including cognitive behavior therapy, systemic modification, emotionally focused therapy, and trauma focused solutions.

Creating a fluid approach provides options to overcome and an assist the client uncovering the patterns, thoughts, and emotions that maintains and prevents growth. In creating a platform of confidence and incremental growth, the client achieves small, monumental steps to release themselves from the past and present and rebuild a positive future.

What you can expect from me

Through a collaborative environment, clients and families become an integral part of the direction and solution presented in therapy. Within each person, couple or family, there are the solutions, they are just being blocked by a cascade of emotions, distortions, and maladaptive cycles. In revealing the problem, the solution takes form through individual and system changes.
