Great to meet you!
I have been working in the helping profession for more than twenty years in a variety of capacities. During this time I’ve had the honor of working with at risk youth, foster families, college students, people experiencing grief and loss, families in crises, and victims of abuse. These experiences have taken place in various settings; private, faith based, and secular in nature.
My educational background includes a B.A. in Philosophy from Spring Arbor University and M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace College and Theological Seminary. I have licensure as an LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) in the state of Indiana. As part of my passion for working with people who have experienced trauma I am trained in EMDR therapy, an evidence-based method of treatment found to be very helpful for trauma survivors.
