Great to meet you!
Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you have spent a long time trying to manage things on your own. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what you are experiencing without feeling judged, rushed, or reduced to a diagnosis.
I hold a Master of Social Work and a Doctor of Social Work degree. My professional background includes clinical practice, work with youth and families, trauma-informed care, nonprofit leadership, and ministry. Much of my career has involved walking alongside people during difficult seasons, and that experience has shaped the way I approach therapy.
I work with adolescents and adults, with a particular interest in trauma and life transitions. This may include painful or overwhelming experiences, changes in relationships or family life, loss, professional or ministry pressures, questions of identity or purpose, or simply reaching a point where the ways you have always coped are no longer working.
My approach is conversational, compassionate, and practical. I ask thoughtful questions and help clients understand the experiences, patterns, and beliefs that may be influencing how they feel and respond. Together, we work toward greater health, stability, and wholeness.
I am also a husband and father, and I understand that life can be complicated even when it looks successful from the outside. For clients who consider faith important, I am comfortable incorporating Christian faith and spiritual concerns into therapy when requested.
You do not have to know exactly what you need before beginning. Sometimes knowing that something needs to change is enough of a place to start.
