Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy can be challenging, and I'm glad you're here. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master's degree in Counseling, and I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of life's challenges. Throughout my career, I've helped individuals navigate trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use challenges, family conflict, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. My experience includes supporting youth with emotional and behavioral challenges, individuals impacted by community and gun violence, adults living with serious mental illnesses, and people working toward recovery and personal growth. As someone who grew up in North Philadelphia, I understand the importance of resilience, community, and having a safe space where you can feel heard and supported. My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where we can work together to build on your strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I bring a trauma-informed, strengths-based lens to every session, shaped by years of work with youth, families, and communities dealing with real-world challenges including

violence, loss, and systems that weren't built to support them. Therapy, in my view, is collaborative: you know your life better than I do. My role is to help you make sense of

it, find what's already working, and build practical strategies for what isn't. I tailor my approach to each person's needs and move at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll take time to get acquainted. I'll ask what's bringing you in, what's felt hard lately, and what you're hoping for from this process. You set the pace. If

you're not ready to cover everything right away, that's okay. By the end of the hour, you'll have a clearer sense of what our work together might look like, and I'll have a

clearer sense of how I can help.
