Great to meet you!

Chalyce Glover , LPC, NCC, CCMHC is the founder of Take These Broken Pieces Counseling & Consultation Services, LLC. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, with over 20 years of experience in the fields of mental health, behavioral health, and education, and over 7 years in independent clinical practice. An Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) through NBCC. My work has spanned hospitals, agencies, schools, and private practice, allowing me to support adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I understand that these experiences can feel overwhelming and isolating at times, but you don’t have to navigate them alone. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative and client-centered. I utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and mindfulness-based techniques. I tailor each session to your unique needs, helping you build insight, develop practical coping skills, and move toward meaningful change.

I am also trained in trauma-informed care and believe that many emotional and behavioral challenges are shaped by life experiences. With this understanding, I approach each client with compassion, cultural humility, and respect for their individual journey.

Chalyce uses an integrative, eclectic approach that draws on evidence-based methods to meet each client’s unique needs. She frequently incorporates strategies and techniques to help clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also using other approaches that promote emotional insight, communication, and resilience. Couples would benefit from her training in Gottman Method Couple Therapy and Pre-marital counseling using Prepare/Enrich. She also offers Christian integration using Biblical Christian perspectives upon client request.

What you can expect from me

As your therapist, I'll walk alongside you with empathy, respect, and gentle guidance, offering a safe, nonjudgmental, and welcoming space for healing and growth. My work is grounded in the belief that healing is always possible. While life can bring moments of stress, pain, and uncertainty, I believe we all have the capacity for resilience, growth, and restoration—especially when we are supported in the process. Therapy is not just about managing symptoms; it is about rediscovering your strength, reconnecting with yourself, and creating a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Taking the step to seek support is meaningful, and I would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey toward healing and wholeness.

Take These Broken Pieces Counseling & Consultation Services, LLC is dedicated to serving those with broken hearts, wills, and motivation—reminding each person that there is Healing, Hope, and Wholeness on the Horizon.
